China National RoHS certification, that is, China National Pollution Control Certification, is a certification system promoted by the country and standardized management. Its full name is "Voluntary Certification for Electronic Information Product Pollution Control." The purpose of this standard is to reduce or eliminate 6 substances in lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers in electronic information products. This standard certification applies to products such as complete machines, components, parts and components, materials, etc.
The products that are manufactured and imported after November 1, 2019 and listed in the "Management Catalogue for Restriction of the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Products (First Batch)" shall meet the requirements of the "Implementation Arrangements". That is to say, the first batch of products in the management catalog after November 1 must be compulsorily processed for ROHS certification.
The first batch of ROHS (12 categories) products introduced by China are: refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, electric water heaters, printers, copiers, fax machines, televisions, monitors (including displays, display screens, etc.), microcomputers (including Desktop PCs, notebooks, tablet PCs, etc.), mobile communication handsets, telephone stand-alones.
